Tharsis is a massive volcanic plateau on Mars. It is home to three large shield volcanoes—Arsia Mons, Pavonis Mons, Ascraeus Mons—and one of the largest mountains in the entire Solar System, Olympus Mons. This image of the Red Planet was taken by UAE's Hope Mission, which arrived at Mars in 2021.
