Meteor Chickens

Description

In May 2024, a blue fireball meteor lit up the night sky. Two geese in Portugal stopped to look up. The event was captured live on a Twitch stream and spawned an art trend across social media. I joined in, of course, because space + birds is my favorite thing and painted the original meteor geese.

Stardew Valley is one of my favorite video games and while playing I had a random idea—wouldn't it be cute to recreate my painting in the style of Stardew? I fused my style with hints of pixel art, a totally new venture for me. It is one of the cutest things I've ever painted! I kept the original for myself, but I made prints for you.
