The moment we were all collectively sitting at the edge of our seats and waiting for: parachute deployment. This painting was inspired by real footage during the live stream of the Artemis II mission. I photographed my TV and saw this perfectly framed image of the parachutes and clouds. From the tiny details in the parachutes to the blue sky, this is my favorite painting from the series.
