the basics
Why is the shop empty?
If the shop is empty, you must have missed the last drop! Subscribe to my email list and follow me on social media to get notified when new art is available. New collections happen every few months.
Will you restock [this item] again?
If there is something you want, it is best to buy it when it is available. I can't guarantee I will restock once it's sold out. I like moving on to new ideas and don't have the space in my studio to keep a large inventory. Limited edition and timed edition prints will not be restocked.
Do you take custom orders?
No, I do not take commissions at this time. I prefer to follow wherever my creativity takes me in the moment and honestly believe it helps me produce my most beautiful paintings of space.
Can we work on a project together?
Maybe! My bandwidth can be low at times as a one woman show. Reach out via email and let's chat.
I get a lot of spammy collaboration messages, so please provide details about the project, compensation, time commitment, etc. for me to get back to you.
Can you donate art to my fundraiser/organization?
All sales through my website are intended for personal use. Do not use my work for raffles, auctions, or fundraising purposes without my expressed consent.
I typically donate 1-2 pieces of art per year. Please contact me directly with the details of your event so I can see if it aligns with my views.
shipping & returns
Where do you ship?
I am based in the United States and ship worldwide. There may be regional restrictions at various times beyond my control that impact where I am able to ship or the time it takes to receive your art. I promise it's worth the wait!
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping prices will vary depending on your location. Check individual listings for the costs. I live in the United States, so generally shipping within the US will be less expensive than international shipping.
Can you combine multiple orders into one shipment?
If you place more than one order in a short time span, I try my best to combine them into one package to reduce shipping costs. However, due to the volume of orders, I don't always catch it. Sending me an email with your order numbers helps! laci@stellerarts.com
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
I do not accept returns or exchanges. All sales are final.
How long does it take to get my order?
Please allow 1-4 weeks for drying, packing, and processing. The time it takes to receive your art will depend on the cost, size, and location. Customers are responsible for any customs fees and/or taxes.
Tracking information will be sent via email and will provide more details about the time it will take to receive your art. Please monitor the status of your order so there are no issues with failed delivery. If a package is returned due to an incorrect address, failed delivery, or unpaid fees, the customer is responsible for new shipping costs and fees.
How are customs fees handled?
International customers are responsible for any customs fees and/or taxes. Please take care of customs charges in a timely manner so your art isn't lost or thrown out.
What if I entered the wrong address?
Providing an accurate, up-to-date shipping address is the responsibility of the customer. I will try my best to fix errors before your order is dispatched but cannot make any guarantees. Customers are responsible for shipping costs should an order need to be sent out a second time.
What if my order is lost or arrives damaged?
On the rare occasion an order arrives damaged in some way or is lost in transit, I will do my best to make it right for you.
If something is damaged, take a picture and send it to info@stellerarts.com within 72 hours of receiving the order. If something is lost, please contact me to discuss next steps. I will request a search with the shipping carrier and file an insurance claim if necessary.
miscellaneous
How do I handle and care for my art?
Be extra careful when opening your art for the first time! I wash/dry my hands and use lint-free gloves when handling. Take a moment to stop and admire how awesome it is, of course!
Larger prints may need to roll out and flatten first. I let the piece roll out naturally for a couple days before gently weighing down the corners with books. Make sure to protect both sides of the print during this process.
Framing: Whether you frame yourself or have it done by professionals, make sure to use archival, acid-free materials. For original paintings, I recommend open or floater frames without glass to ensure proper air flow
Will I get a certificate of authenticity?
Please refer to individual listings to see if a certificate of authenticity is included. In general, all original mini paintings, oil paintings, and limited edition prints come with one.
